Grandpa Stearns was an All-American baseball player who graduated from Morris Brown College and later served in the U.S.Army during WWII.  After the Army, Von G. Stearns became an insurance agent with North Carolina Mutual Life Insurance and ultimately became the proud owner of the famous Blue Velvet Lounge in Chattanooga, TN. It was during these early years and summers spent with his grandfather that Kyle discovered he had a “knack” for sales and the gift of “gab” 

 

After studying finance and economics at Morehouse College, Kyle became a mortgage banker with Bank of America which ultimately led Kyle to the world of “payment processing.”  In 1998, Kyle founded Paradigm Funding & Payment Solutions, a boutique “mom & pop” credit card processing ISO designed to service the smaller merchant.  

 

As a result, Kyle grew Paradigm to over 150, (1099 sales agents)  and 28 (W-2 employees.) In 2004, Paradigm was recognized as the #5 ISO in America and Kyle ultimately sold his portfolio of business to Cornerstone, A First Data Company for an undisclosed amount in 2008. 

 

It was during this time when Kyle became passionate about helping others experience what both he and his family were beginning to experience, having both Financial and Time Freedom!  Over the next decade, Kyle dabbled in the Real Estate market and honed his speaking and presentation skills while serving in roles such as the Director of a non-profit ministry designed for young men of color, leading a management restructuring project at The Washington Hospital Center as well as co-founding a non-profit organization entitled The Douglas J. Stearns Foundation which provides cash scholarships to students attending HBCU’s.  

 

In August of 2016 Kyle became a licensed Life Insurance Broker and Annuity expert forming what is now known as The DMV Benefits Center (in Association with The Alliance). With agents in DC, Atlanta, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Colorado, Kyle and his team work with some of the nations top carriers such as Mutual of Omaha, Transamerica, Foresters Financial, AIG, CVSHealth, CFG, SILAC and many others in attempt to provide seniors 65+ with Life Insurance, Retirement and Medicare assistance.

 

Kyle firmly believes that all of your dreams can be realized through great mentorship, hard thinking and the ability to serve ALL types of people from every walk of life. 

 

Kyle currently resides in Washington, DC with his wife Dione; parents to two adult children, Jordan and Joshua.
